NEW! Harmonica Breaks - Click here for more information

  • I have been teaching blues harmonica for over ten years and enjoy this aspect of my work as much as performing.

  • I can teach at all levels from beginners to advanced, on a one- to- one or group basis.

  • For the last two years I have been teaching harmonica at the European Blues Association’s Summer School held at Exeter University.   More details are available from their website http://www.euroblues.org

  • I have a studio at my home in East Devon where I am happy to teach individuals or small groups, and I can tailor material to suit the different needs of my students.

  • If you are unable to visit me I am willing to conduct lessons via the mail using a combination of written word and audio cassette.

  • I am happy to offer advice on acoustic playing,  playing amplified harmonica, and the effective use of special microphones in this context.
